Cleaning & Maintenance of Porcelain Pavers
Needed Supplies:
- Green or White Scrubbing Pad (Which can be found at any local home-stores)
- Bucket
- Water
- Mop
- Liquid Vacuum Cleaner
As a maintenance cleaner for all floor types:
Dilute 1:200 (one capful of FILACLEANER per gallon of water) for a no-rinse application. Can be used directly in the water tank of a floor cleaning machine when diluted 1:200. For stubborn dirt: Dilute 1:30 (1-2 cups of FILACLEANER per gallon of water) scrub and rinse. For the initial post-installation clean of all stone surfaces: Dilute FILACLEANER 1:30 and apply to the floor and scrub with a brush, or floor scrubber and soft pad. Remove the residue with a mop or wet vac and rinse thoroughly

In cases where there is staining such as soil, yard loam, etc. It is recommended to use the FILA DETERDEK.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
- It is important to know that FILA DETERDEK is an acidic product. So it is highly recommended to cover any surfaces such as turf, plaster etc. to prevent any discoloring and/or damages.
- It is not recommended to power wash the surface, but to rather mop to avoid splatters.
- PLEASE NOTE – Do not use on acid sensitive stone such as marble, limestone, or travertine. Test the product on a small, inconspicuous area of the surface or loose sample prior to full application.
In cases where there is staining such as soil, yard loam, etc. It is recommended to use the FILA DETERDEK.
As a maintenance cleaner for all floor types:
Post Installation Cleaning: Wet the surface with water, then use DETERDEK diluted 1:5 or 1:10 (1 QT of product in 1.5 GAL of water).
Apply the solution to sections of a few square feet at a time.
Let it sit a few minutes, then rub vigorously with an abrasive pad or large brush. Remove the residue with a cloth or wet vac and rinse with plenty of water. Should any stubborn dirt remain, repeat the application with a more concentrated solution. Outdoor cleaning: On surfaces with outdoor contaminants (smog, dust, etc.), dilute 1:10 (1 QT of product in 2.5 GAL of water). Then follow the application instructions above.
